In this blog post, we would like to introduce our new location - the HoHo Vienna.

With 24 floors and a height of 84 meters, Hoho Vienna is currently the second tallest wooden skyscraper in the world. Our therapy center is located in the adjacent building, the Hoho Next, which was completed in 2018 using our own timber-hybrid construction method.

We have found the perfect location for our therapy center here at Hoho Next. Located directly at the Seestadt U2 underground terminus, our location is very easy to reach by public transport.

In addition to being easy to reach, our aim was to create a place with a feel-good atmosphere for our patients - a place that promotes well-being and supports recovery. The Hoho Wien is made of 75% wood and the spruce walls visible inside radiate a particularly warm and calming atmosphere.

Wood also has a positive effect on the indoor climate, as it can absorb and release a lot of moisture.

Thanks to our partnership with Vienna Estate (owner of HoHo Vienna), we are not only able to offer a first-class treatment environment, but also a sustainable and environmentally friendly infrastructure. With our commitment to a green future, we are setting an example of responsibility and innovation.

The sustainability of the timber high-rise has also been proven: The building achieved gold in the internationally recognized LEED rating system for environmentally friendly buildings , upon completion. The ÖGNB completion certificate is also impressive: The Austrian Sustainable Building Council awarded the HoHo Vienna 924 out of 1000 points.

The timber construction of the HoHo Vienna saved around 2,800 tons ofCO2 equivalents compared to a reinforced concrete construction. This corresponds to around 20 million car kilometers or a daily car journey of 40 kilometers - and that for 1,300 years.
