Speech therapy
Speech therapy deals with the diagnosis and treatment of speech, language, voice, swallowing and communication disorders in children and adults. In the neurological field in particular, it plays a central role in restoring, improving or compensating for impaired abilities following illnesses or injuries to the nervous system. The therapy is offered by Marie Hirschhuber, an external, specialized speech therapist, in our therapy center. Treatment of swallowing disorders (dysphagia), targeted training of motor speech sequences for speech apraxia and myofunctional therapy to improve muscular balance in the mouth and face area with a positive effect on swallowing, articulation and tooth position.
