Paraplegia

Innovative rehabilitation and individual therapy for people with spinal cord injury.

Paraplegia - getting up with the help of robotics

New ways despite spinal cord injury
In the case of paraplegia, the nerve pathways in the spinal cord are partially or completely interrupted. Depending on the location of the injury, movement and sensory functions below this level may be restricted - sometimes only affecting the legs, sometimes also the trunk, arms or breathing. The consequences range from a lack of muscle activity and reduced sensitivity to spastic or vegetative symptoms.

How it all began
Our founder Gregor Demblin is himself paraplegic. When he tried therapy with an exoskeleton for the first time in 2017, he was deeply impressed by the effect and the feeling of being able to stand and walk upright again. This experience gave rise to the vision that other people with spinal cord injury should also have access to this technology - and so tech2people was founded.

Therapy with state-of-the-art robotics
In our therapy center, you can train with the exoskeleton or the Lokomat. Both devices enable targeted, guided movements and support active standing up and walking.

Our patients report positive effects such as

  • improved cardiovascular and bladder function

  • prevention of osteoporosis

  • better breathing and muscle development

  • Increased well-being, motivation and zest for life

On our YouTube-Kanal you will find inspiring videos and testimonials about training with robotics at tech2people.

Your first step
In an initial consultation, we will discuss together what is possible and what goals you would like to achieve. We look forward to accompanying you on your journey - step by step, out of the wheelchair and towards new freedom of movement.
