OmegoPlus

OmegoPlus - The next level of preparatory and activating exercises

OMEGOPlus is a rehabilitation device that achieves excellent results for people with lower limb impairments and walking disabilities and, with its "PRE-GAIT" therapy, plays an important role in the preparation for standing and walking training.

Among other things, it enables unilateral and bilateral "leg press", stepping exercises (stepper), cycling and "foot lifter" therapy. These can be performed both sitting and standing. The two separate drives enable isolated, focused, effective, flexible and motivating therapy with the aim of improving motor, sensory and cognitive deficits.

Interactive therapy games with the TyroS software are used to motivate patients to successfully complete therapy exercises. Among other things, it contains strength exercises that enable complete training of all muscles required for a physiological gait pattern. All exercises can be performed actively, passively and assistively depending on the patient's individual performance limits.

Advantages:

  • Simple and quick setup time maximizes effective therapy time
  • Motivating training
  • Objective assessments and evaluations
  • High adaptability to patients and therapy requirements
  • Isometric, eccentric and concentric training
  • Improvement of cardiovascular function, muscle strength, mobility, spasticity and proprioception

Success stories:

  • After the long time in a coma, Kevin's body was no longer used to the upright position, his circulation just wasn't up to it. With therapy sessions in the Omego Plus, verticalization could be achieved in small steps and with additional activation through the separate pedals in just a few days.
  • After the stroke, Werner's right leg didn't really want to hold his body weight. During the physiotherapy sessions in the Omego Plus, Werner was able to achieve both strengthening and slowly increase the weight transfer of the affected leg.
