Tymo
Tymo - an innovative approach to trunk stability, balance and coordination
Tymo is a sensor-based diagnostic and therapy system for supporting, standing and sitting functions. The correspondingly small, wireless but powerful system in the form of a plate enables numerous therapy options for improving trunk stability, balance and postural control - the basis of all limb movements - in a motivating and playful way.
Active strength exercises for the upper extremities can also be performed using Tymo. Balance exercises can also be performed. The strength and weight distribution are automatically measured and documented during therapy. The combination with TyroS software enables numerous, playful therapy exercises in standing, sitting and supporting positions in a motivating and exciting way with audio-visual feedback.
Success stories:
- After her cerebral infarction, Birgit was able to walk again thanks to a lot of practice, but she still felt unsteady. During physiotherapy treatment, she playfully trained her balance on the Tymo and is now "back on her feet again".
- Sebastian's lesion height is very high, which is why he is very unsteady in his wheelchair after the spinal cord injury and has already fallen out several times. Thanks to targeted training on the free seat, which Sebastian completed on the Tymo under therapeutic guidance, he no longer even needs a harness in his wheelchair.
