The journey from a personal turning point to innovation in therapy.
An accident. A diagnosis: paraplegia.
Gregor Demblin has been in a wheelchair since the age of 18. He did everything he could to learn to walk again - but even after two years of intensive training, this goal remained unattainable.
In 2017, however, Gregor experienced a turning point:
For the first time, he was able to stand up and walk again with the help of an exoskeleton. He wanted to enable other people with disabilities to experience this feeling of finally being able to communicate with other people at eye level again and at the same time feel the many physical benefits. This gave rise to the idea of founding tech2people.
After many years of outpatient treatments in various hospitals, we opened our new location in Vienna's Urban Lakeside in the fall of 2023. There, we are taking neuro-, physiotherapy and occupational therapy to a new level.
We are also developing software that makes progress in physiotherapy measurable - so that we can treat our patients in an even more targeted and effective way.
